Training on Multimedia Database

Mr. Takakazu Tamaki, short-term expert from Japan was at USP for just over a month from July 3rd - August 12th 2004. The main purpose of his trip was to finalise a User Manual and provide short-course training to USP counterparts on how to maintain the Multimedia Database (MDB) system he had developed during his previous trip to USP in 2003. This will ensure the sustainable use of the MDB at USP. The MDB is a "Learning object" management database for USP. Mr. Tamaki also installed a newly developed world standard, the "IEEE standard", into the MDB.
