A series of seminars were held in Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa to share the results of the research titled "Economic Impact of E-Commerce Strategies for Marketing and Micro-Tourism Enterprises". Technical trainings were also provided on the basic skills of ICT use for marketing by Small Micro-Enterprises (SME).

This research was undertaken by the project to identify the e-commerce experiences of small and micro-tourism enterprises and the factors that have influenced their decision on web-site establishment and Internet services subscription. The research collected primary data from the tourism operators from Fiji, Samoa and Tonga on the impact of e-commerce activities on the revenue of their enterprises.
 
The first day of the two-day seminar focused on sharing the results of the research. The technical class on the second day involved basic training and the use of email and internet for beginners to web-page maintenance for more advanced users.
