Power Users of Information and Communication Technology Summit in New York

From 12th to 13th December 2004, Mr. Christopher Robbins was invited by United Nations to the Power Users of Information and Communication Technology Summit in New York to present a paper titled "Harnessing power users' skills to create culturally-relevant educational technology in the South Pacific". Pacific Islands Chapter of the Internet Society (PICISOC) Conference Port Villa

During the PacInet 2004, a Conference organised by the Pacific Islands Chapter of the Internet Society (PICISOC) from 23rd to 28th August 2004 in Vanuatu, Mr. Robbins was invited to present a paper titled "Cultural Pedagogy and Usability of New Media in the South Pacific". Over 30 participants from all over the Pacific region and mostly from the IT sector attended this program.

Conference on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Our Life

On 16th June 2004, Mr. Robbins presented the findings of his research during the ICT in Life Conference. The Conference was organised by the ICT Capacity Building at USP Project and held at the AUSAid Lecture Theatre at USP, Suva but broadcasted live to all USP member countries simultaneously.
