Evaluation of the CS Curriculum in Fiji Secondary Schools - Symposium

Dr Esther Williams of USP, Ms Maki Kato and Ms Natasha Khan-Malik of the ICT Capacity Building at USP Project have completed the data collection for the "Evaluation of the Computer Science Curriculum in Fiji Secondary Schools". The researchers worked closely Mr. Viliame Dranivesi, a senior Education Officer at the Technical and Vocational Section of Ministry of Edcation.

A total of 84 secondary schools all over Viti and Vanua Levu were visited in January and February 2003. CS Teachers, selected students and some stakeholders were interviewed. A total of six Focus Group interviews were conducted to obtain qualitative data.
