Chief Advisor and DFL Expert

The Project welcomed Mr. Hiroshi Kuroiwa and Dr. Kader Pramanik in August 17th and September 6th 2004 respectively.

Mr. Kuroiwa succeeded Prof. Fujinobu Takahashi as Chief Advisor and Computing Science expert for the Project. Before commencing with the Project, Mr. Kuroiwa was previously employed in the Department of National Institute of Information and Communication Technology (NICT), formally the Communications Research Laboratory (CRL).

Dr. Pramanik has a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Communication Engineering from Tohoku University, Japan and has nearly 30 years experience in the Telecommunications Industry as well with UN projects.

The two experts will return to Japan in August 2005.
