Diploma in Leadership, Governance & Human Rights

On successful completion of this programme, graduates should be able to:

  1. Analyse the different styles of good governance, leadership and human rights and its principles and consider their integration and application into everyday life
  2. Analyse critically and apply knowledge of good governance in the Pacific Island Countries and globally.
  3. Assess critically the increasing concern for the critical importance of good governance, leadership and human rights from a practical perspective and its application in the Pacific Island countries
  4. Evaluate the scope and consequence of the human rights laws, conventions and treaties and how these affect us in the Pacific Island countries
  5. Assess global issues relating to corruption, with a strong focus on Pacific Island Countries.
  6. Apply critically, knowledge and skills of human rights defenders in the Pacific Island Countries and globally.
