USP MBA Ranked Top 100 in the GLO-BUS

 

The University of the South Pacific’s (USP) Strategic Management course (MBA440) at the Graduate School of Business (GSB) has earned Global top 100 ranking in GLO-BUS, a business simulation game.

Each year, USP’s GSB participates in the GLO-BUS game. GLO-BUS is an online exercise where teams of students put strategy and decision-making skills to the test as they develop business plans and compete against each other for market share.

All 11 enrolled organisations obtained a Global Top 100 ranking for their company’s GLO-BUS performance during the week of October 18 through October 24, setting a new benchmark for students registering for this capstone course in the MBA program.

They were all cited as the top 100 companies in the world beating other reputable universities in the US, Canada, Asia and UK in the following financial ratios: Return on Average Equity, Earnings Per Share and Stock Price.

School of Business and Management, Head of School,  Professor Gurmeet Singh commended the Lecturer, Dr. Sunia Vosikata and his students for attaining these rankings while competing with the students from leading universities spread all over the globe, where USP has earned considerable mileage.

The co-managers of the winning company were accorded certificates by Professor Gurmeet Singh.
