Three students of The University of the South Pacific’s (USP) Faculty of Arts, Law and Education (FALE) were awarded the Dean’s Award for the Most Outstanding First Year Students 2016 at the Laucala Campus on 24 March, 2017.
They were Shameera Shahid from the School of Social Sciences (SOSS) who scored a GPA of 4.31, Ulamila Cagivanua, also from SOSS for a GPA of 4.25 and Reeha Sharma from the School of Education for a GPA of 4.25.

An Engineering project of The University of the South Pacific (USP) has been shortlisted as one of the top twenty (20) projects in the world in 2016 as part of the All Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Young Engineers’ Humanitarian (AIYEHUM) Challenge.
