The University of the South Pacific (USP) is pleased to announce the completion of a ground-breaking study on internet penetration and use in Samoa, conducted as part of the Pacific Regional ICT Regulatory Development Project which is housed at USP and funded by the World Bank. The University of the South Pacific’s (USP) Pacific Centre for Sustainable and Environmental Development (PaCE-SD) played a vital role in a joint historic scientific effort for the deployment of a deep-water temperature-monitoring mooring and surface wave buoy in Fiji off the Shangri-La Fijian Resort, Yanuca Island on 2 May 2018. The University of the South Pacific (USP) is pleased to formally announce the appointment of Professor Pal Ahluwalia as the new Vice-Chancellor and President (VC&P) of USP in a decision made during the 86th Council meeting of the University in Nauru. Professor Ahluwalia will formally take up his new role as VC&P in November 2018.
