The Acting Director of USP's Oceania Centre for Arts and Culture Mr John Pule with some of artwork by in-house artists that are on display at the Centre as part of the Red Wave Exhibition. The exhibition which started last week has on display works by artists who recently participated in two very successful overseas exhibitions. One artist, Irami Buli exhibited in two international group shows in New Delhi and Bangalore in India, while another six artists – Lingikoni Vaka’uta, Josaia McNamara, Fred Butafa, William Bakalevu, Ledua Peni and Mason Lee travelled to London for the first contemporary art exhibition from Fiji. The current exhibition at USP features new works by these artists and other Red Wave artists. According to Mr Pule, the works exhibited in India and London was well received by art lovers and critics alike. The Red Wave exhibition comes to and end this week
