USP Laucala and Labasa campuses reopen.

The University of the South Pacific was affected by Severe Tropical Cyclone Winston with considerable damage to trees around the campuses but little damage to our infrastruture at our Laucala, and Labasa campuses.

All staff and students are safe and were kept secured during the storm along with their families.

After a huge clean-up effort the Laucala and Labasa campuses re-opened on Wednesday 24 February.

We expect to open our Statham and Marine campus on Thursday 25 February.

As of now, we are still assessing the status of our Lautoka campus and essential services.

Further announcements will be made in due course.

USP would like to extend its sincere sympathies to the victims and families of all those affected by Tropical Cyclone Winston.
