USP academic wins Excellent Researcher Award

Dr Gurmeet Singh, Associate Professor at The University of the South Pacific’s (USP) School of Management and Public Administration (SMAP) has been awarded with the ‘Excellent Researcher Award’ by Research Excellence and Academic Awards (REAA) 2018.

The awards were given in a ceremony held on the campus of N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research in Mumbai on 10 March 2018. 

The award was presented by Professor Durg Singh Chauhan, former NASA scientist and current Vice-Chancellor of GLA University.

GLA University is a private recognised university in Mathura Uttar PradeshIndia.

This award was bestowed on Dr Singh in recognition of his proven track record of outstanding research and academic performance in different contexts in several international universities and multi-cultural communities.

Dr Singh has 42 ranked publications since 2007, mainly B- and C-ranked and within the last three years, he published three A-ranked papers. 

He is also the associate editor for the Journal of Global Marketing, a prestigious international journal ranked by Australian Business Deans’ Council (ABDC) and published by Taylor and Francis group.

He is also the editorial board member of many ranked international journals.
