USP Marshall Islands Campus welcomes all who are interested in pursuing higher education at an institution known for quality, Pacific focus, and its links with Regional and International partners.  Quality is a core value of the University and is assured through a comprehensive system implemented by External Advisers from renowned Universities, institutional quality audits from Australian and New Zealand quality agencies and by international accreditors.  We are proud to say that USP has obtained American accreditation through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

While we are a small campus, we have excellent facilities and staff to ensure you have a successful learning experience and journey that will provide you with the best chance for life-long success.  This includes a well-resourced Library and experienced Librarian, computer labs and video-conferencing facilities with the full time support of an ITS Support Officer, well equipped Science Labs for courses in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, a USP Campus-Life Office and full-time Student Learning Support officer to support you in your learning journey.

Courses are offered in a variety of teaching modes including Print, Online, Blended and Face-to-Face.  Bridging Preliminary and Foundation programs are available from the USP Pacific TAFE through our government supported College Preparatory Program as well as Pacific TAFE skills-based or sub-degree programs, and Degree and Post-Degree level courses are available from the USP Schools and the Pacific Centre for Environment & Sustainable Development (PaCE-SD).

In addition to Academic facilities and services, the Marshall Island Campus offers a range of social, cultural and sporting activities.  The campus has a café where students can enjoy daily lunch specials as well as a cup of tea, coffee or healthy smoothies.  There is a campus choir and ability to check out a range of musical instruments.  For sporting activities, the campus boasts recently renovated tennis courts, table tennis and beach volleyball, a fitness center/gym and kayaks and snorkeling equipment for rent to explore the campus reef.  The campus also hosts the Majuro Ocean Sports Club that has state-of-the-art outrigger paddling canoes and plans to include swimming, water safety, standup paddling and surfing in the club’s activities.

SPOTLIGHT:Dr. Hilda Heine install as USP 26th Chancellor

Her Excellency Hilda C. Heine, the President of the Republic of Marshall Islands was installed as the 26th Chancellor of The University of the South Pacific (USP) at the second graduation ceremony of the year on 19 September 2019 at the FMF Gymnasium.

The installation was done by Mr Winston Thompson, Pro-Chancellor and Chair of USP Council.

In his remarks, Mr Thompson said this graduation ceremony was a special one because of the installation of the University’s 26th Chancellor, H.E Hilda C. Heine, the President of the Republic of Marshall Islands.

He said this is a historic moment for the University as she is the first female Chancellor of the USP
