The Research Office is once again organizing the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) which is an academic competition developed by The University of Queensland (UQ), Australia for research higher degree students. This year, the 3MT event is scheduled for the 5th of September.
The 3MT is an exercise aimed to develop academic and research communication skills. Research higher degree students have three minutes to present a compelling oration on their thesis topic and its significance in language appropriate to an intelligent but non-specialist audience.
Eligible students are encouraged to participate and win a chance to represent the University of the South Pacific in Australian and New Zealand finals scheduled to be held on the 11th of October, 2012 at the University of Queensland.
