Biography

Maxine Valentine, currently serving as an Education Technologist at the Centre for Flexible Learning (CFL), has been with USP for over 25 years, marking a distinguished career that began at the University Extension, now known as CFL.

Maxine’s expertise spans various roles, beginning with her position as Senior Electronic Publisher at CFL. In 2015, she advanced to the role of Records Officer – Classification within the Records Management Office. There, she played a pivotal role in shaping records management infrastructure models, ensuring they aligned with the institution’s policies, processes, and procedural frameworks. Additionally, she was instrumental in promoting, training, and implementing USP’s Electronic Documents and Records Management System (EDRMS).

In 2024, Maxine transitioned into her current role as an Education Technologist, where she continues to contribute her wealth of knowledge and experience. Her academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBAD), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resource Management (PGCHRM) from USP. She also holds certifications in Graphic Designing and Desktop Publishing from the Fiji National University.
