The 2025 Conference of Pacific Education Ministers (CPEM) Meeting will be held in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea (PNG), from March 18-20, 2025 at the APEC Haus.
As you are aware, the PNG Government through the Ministry of Education will serve as the host to the 2025 Conference of Pacific Education Ministers (CPEM) Meeting, working in partnership with the Pacific Regional Education Framework Programme (PacREF) Facilitating Unit (PFU). The University of the South Pacific who houses the PFU are cohosts.
The theme for the 2025 CPEM is Transforming Edukesen for a Better Pacific.
The CPEM is a pivotal face-to-face gathering aimed at advancing educational policies and priorities, sharing best practices and fostering regional collaboration and also reflects a more active and formal engagement with civil society organisations (CSOs) who are important stakeholders in education development in the Pacific.

We would like to inform you that the 2025 CPEM Conference is specifically designed for key delegates whose participation directly contributes to the success of the event. Due to limited capacity and the need for a focused and productive environment, only delegates fulfilling specific roles such as presenters, session chairs, committee members and invited speakers are eligible for registration.
If you meet the criteria listed above, we look forward to your participation.
If you are not part of one of these groups, we regret to inform you that we cannot process your registration for the conference.
Please be aware that accreditation for the 2025 CPEM is separate from any travel or immigration documentation needed to enter PNG.
To apply for visas and entry into PNG, it is essential you have an invite letter with your name as in passport issued to you by the CPEM Chair and PNG Minister of Education, Hon Lucas Dawa Dekena, or by the Head of the CPEM Secretariat.
All costs associated with attending the 2025 CPEM Ministers meeting must be covered by the individual delegate or organisation.
Upon acceptance of your registration, only those issued with the official 2025 CPEM meeting invite letter, will be issued with an official accreditation badge at the registration booth, at the opening of the 2025 CPEM meeting.
The 2025 CPEM Secretariat will endeavor to acknowledge all eligible delegates and strive to provide a timely response.
