PRIYNKA SHARMA (Member, IEEE) is a dynamic researcher and Assistant Lecturer in Computing Science and Information Systems at the University of the South Pacific (USP), Suva, Fiji. With a Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science and Information Systems, a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Systems, and a Master of Science degree from USP, she is now advancing her expertise through Ph.D. research on fuel cells. An alumna of the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) program, Priynka has actively engaged in global platforms, including representing panels at the prestigious Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE). She has received recognition for her contributions to research, particularly in anomaly detection, fault detection, artificial intelligence, security and more. Her expertise spans neural networks, fault detection, cybersecurity, and data mining, with applications in energy systems and beyond. She is an accomplished author of several peer-reviewed publications and a respected speaker at conferences and workshops. Priynka’s professional journey reflects her commitment to innovation, collaboration, and leadership in academia and industry. She is deeply passionate about empowering others including women’s in the Pacific through education and her engagement in impactful, interdisciplinary research.
