Dr. Dinesh Rao is a lecturer in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of the South Pacific (USP). With a strong academic background and expertise in applied mathematics, Dr. Rao has been actively involved in teaching and research at USP. His areas of interest include Mathematical programming, Statistical modeling, Survey sampling, Time series analysis and mathematical education.

Dr. Rao teaches a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in mathematics and statistics, focusing on helping students develop both theoretical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills. He is also engaged in research projects that address regional issues in the Pacific, including environmental modeling and mathematical education.

In addition to his academic duties, Dr. Rao is dedicated to community outreach, promoting mathematical education and fostering interest in STEM subjects within the Pacific region. His contributions to the field and to USP make him a valued member of the university’s academic community.
