    Ms. Ilisapeci (Beth) Rokotunidau worked for many years as a teacher before completing a degree in Sociology with a minor in Education.  Following that she worked with the then Fiji Prisons Service and headed the Research & Planning Unit.  She worked there for more than 8 years before completing her Post-Graduate Diploma in Social Policy & Public Administration.  She went on to become the Acting Director Women, Director Poverty Alleviation and then Director Social Welfare.

    In 2010 she joined the School of Social Sciences and worked in the Sociology Unit before joining the Social Work Program.  In 2012 she left to join the Fiji Community Development Program, an Australian Aid Program that supported civil society organisations.  She has since done a few consultancies before re-joining the Social Work Program.

    Ilisapeci is from Natogadravu, Nuku, Tailevu and her mother is from Bau, Bau, Tailevu

    PGD Social Policy & Public Administration :  University of the South Pacific
    BA Sociology/Education:  University of the South Pacific
    Diploma in Teaching:  Auckland Teacher’s College, NZ.    USP:  July 2018 to current
