The Chinese Class in Summer Holidays

                 ---The Cultural Activity in CI-USP 31st Dec.2016

In answer to the Chinese class social students’ request, the Confucius Institute at the South Pacific University (CI-USP) Fiji, started the extra Chinese class in summer holidays and held the New Year cultural activity on 31st December 2016.

Most students in the extra class are Korean, even although they stay at the third country and far away from China, they still have high passion to study Chinese.

The theme of the activity is “Parents and children and New Year”. The whole family study to make Chinese dumplings together.

Everyone joined together from making stuffing, kneading dough until the hot dumplings cooked. Though the shape and the size of dumplings made by children were various, they enjoyed the process.

At the end of the activity we took a picture together to save the special moment and make a wish for the New Year.

The CI-USP takes this opportunity to wish everyone: a Wonderful, a Healthy, productive and enjoyable New Year.
