USP Alumni Network

  • Class/Regional Alumni Ambassadors

Class/Regional Alumni Ambassadors are USP graduates who volunteer to help perform a vital service in keeping alumni connected and involved with USP.  They connect with former classmates or USP graduates in their regional location, encourages them to participate in alumni activities, and assist the Alumni Office in keeping up-to-date alumni contact information.

Being an Alumni Ambassador is a great way to remain involved after graduation and you can be as active as your schedule will allow.

    1. Must be a graduate of the University of the South Pacific who has completed a degree or a diploma/certificate.

    2. Willingness to work with the University.

    3. Willingness to contribute time (minimal time commitment).

    4. Enthusiasm.

    5. Ability to motivate and engage alumni.

    Role of an Alumni Ambassador

Alumni Ambassadors work with the Alumni Office to:

    • Communicate with classmates or graduates in your area (either via e-mail, or social networking Web sites).
    • Reach out to classmates to collect e-mail addresses and updated contact information. Encourage them to register online and join the Alumni community.
    • Encourage and increase participation in alumni activities.
    • Collect news for the Class Notes section of the Alumni Website. This includes marriages, births, class members' accomplishments and awards. This is a great way for people to stay caught up across the miles and across the years.
    • Encourage them to like our Facebook page or join us on LinkedIn.
    • Brainstorm additional ways to keep your class or graduates in your area connected.

If you are interested in being an Alumni Ambassador, contact the Alumni Office.
