New Zealand

3. What programme(s) did you graduate in and in which year?
Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts major Public Administration/Political Science in 1980 and a MBA in 1996.

4. What was your most memorable moment as a student?
Student representative at University Council

5. Describe your experience while studying at USP.
Best years of academic development as well as securing life skills and outlook to future

6. What was your greatest achievement while studying at USP?
Grasping realistic models of development for Pacific peoples

7. After graduating from USP, what were some of the highlights of your career?
Working for the Prime Ministers department in Samoa and managing bilateral and multilateral assistance programmes to the country. Now I am the Managing Director of Sustainable Pacific Development. It is my development consultancy company that offers strategic management advice on a wide range of development issues impacting Pacific people both in the island countries and New Zealand.

8.How do you think USP helped you in your career?
In providing skills and understanding development issues to support Pacific peoples development needs.

9. After graduating from USP, what has been your greatest achievement?
Working with the Forum  Islands Secretariat and launching development career.

10. What inspires you and why?
To help pacific peoples address best models of development and empowering them as they face technology changes and modern approaches to development.

11. What advice would you give to current and future students of USP?
Just focus and keep serving pacific peoples with a good heart.

12. Please share your top three tips that you think are most important for our current students or recent graduates that will help them when starting out on their career paths.
Study hard, have fun and be ready to serve pacific people

13. What has your involvement been with the University since you graduated?
Consult with USP on the Living in the land project currently I am involved with.
