Seventeen senior development officers from the Commissioner Western’s Office received certificates for successfully completing a four day training workshop on Project Management.
Held at the USP Lautoka Campus from Monday, 12 August to Thursday, 15th August, the training is part of the Campus’ Continuing and Community Education Program. The training was conducted by Geoff Hyde, the Managing Director and Principal Consultant of Sustainable Tourism International Ltd.
The training focused on four major topics - Project Management Fundamentals, Intermediate Project Management, and Advanced Project Management Project Management Techniques that comprised several topics/sessions.
Before presenting the certificates to the participants, USP Lautoka Campus Director Dr Pramila Devi thanked them for choosing USP as their trainer and she said she hoped they found the program meaningful and relevant.
Dr Devi said she looked forward to receiving feedback on the course from the participants which would help USP improve its services.
