SMPA's Diwali Celebrations 2014

Staff at the School of Management & Public Administration joyously celebrated Diwali on the 23rd October 2014. The day was filled with pleasant moments where the staff were dressed in their bright & most  beautiful Indian attire. An array of Diwali sweets were devoured on this day and staff promised to forgive others and light up their life with happiness, joy, and peace! Diwali is considered as the 'festival of lights' that is celebrated by the Indian community all around the world. Diwali has deep spiritual significance for Indians since they celebrate the return of one of their Lord (Lord Ram) from exile. On this day, Indians pray to Lord Lakshmi (Goddess of Wealth and Prosperity) for good health and prosperity for the coming year.
