The USP Lautoka’s Library received a boost to its resource collection with donation by the American Resource Centre (ARC) on Friday, 08 May, 2015.
Campus Director Dr. Pramila Devi accepted with gratitude the books that were presented to her by Cyndee Crook Immigrant Visa Chief, USA Embassy.
A total of 44 books were donated, related to various academic disciplines such as Accounting, Management, Business & Finance/Commerce, Ethics and Governance, Information System and Marketing and so on, as well as some inspirational literature and fiction books suitable for university students.
Dr. Devi thanked ARC for its generous donation. She said the new additions to the library would greatly benefit both students and staff of USP Lautoka academically and professionally.
ARC, which is part of the Public Affairs Office at the US Embassy in Suva, is focused on serving the information needs of the government representatives, the scholars, non-government representatives, the media, researchers, tertiary students and the general public.
