The University of the South Pacific (USP), through the Centre for Flexible Learning (CFL) have now become members of the Moodle Users Association (MUA), an official non-profit organisation dedicated to contributing towards the core development of Moodle.
The mission of MUA is to support the growth of Moodle by providing a strong and united voice to users, giving direction and resources for new developments. Mr. Dhiraj Bhartu, Acting Director CFL, highlighted that “by joining the Association, USP will have a real say in deciding which Moodle features will get implemented next”.
“Moreover, USP can propose projects for Moodle development, work collaboratively developing requirements for proposed development projects and help in the development of other Moodle projects” said Mr. Bhartu.
He further added that “The Moodle Users Association brand represents people from across the globe coming together to drive Moodle to a single direction as one of the leading open source learning management system”.
