Why did you choose your field of study?
Always felt comfortable with numbers since school days. Studying science was never my genre.

It was fun and challenging simultaneously. Had to meet strict deadlines, learnt teamwork and timely deliverables. All these learning come very handy in my everyday work today.

Graduating with a BA Accounting/Financial Management & Banking/Finance ofcourse.
Career Highlights since Graduation
Landing a job at Fijian Holdings Limited and Climbing ranks thereafter.  Also had an opportunity of a short Visit to PNG for business analysis.

Who/what do you credit your success to? What inspires you?
My parents and families for their inspirational support throughout my time at USP.  My mentors guided me through my carrier path to where I am today.

How do you think USP helped you in your career?
USP Definitely helped build a stepping stone towards my carrier in accounting.

Describe any challenges you face to reach where you are today and how you overcame those challenges?
            - finding the right mentor at the right time, who provides timely guidance as you progress in your career. I got timely advice from USP Professors academically, and carrier advice through my CEO at work.
            - proper time management planning appropriately for long hours at work, continuously studying and personal time. Used the same concept as Financial Budgeting learnt at USP to allocate appropriate time.
            - having the right people around you. Had to be selective in choosing the right people to be associated with.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years (career and/or personal goals)?
I am planning to have my own consultancy/advisory firm. All this through my academic learnings and accumulative professional experience.
What advice would you give to current and future students of USP?
Simply the true dedication and discipline put into the field of work, no matter which profession one is in. There are no shortcuts and hard work one does pays considerable dividends. Invest time in continuous learning and giving more than 100% in your work.

Please share top three tips that you think are most important for our current students or recent graduates that will help them when starting out on their career paths.
