Accreditation -  Pacific Technical And Further Education (Pacific TAFE)



Accreditation

The Quality Office’s current achievements in terms of programme accreditation/ recognitions are as follows:

I.    Accreditation with the International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education (THE- ICE)

a) Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

b) Certificate IV in Hospitality Operations- Front Office, Food, Beverage and Events

c) Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery 

d) Certificate III in Patisserie 

 

II.    Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)

a) Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

b.) Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 5)

 ACECQA has approved these qualifications to be added to their approved list of qualifications. This means that two of Pacific TAFE’s ECE & Care qualifications have met the standards of Australian National Quality Framework and the graduates given recognition as level III and level 5 ECE & Care worker in Australia respectively.

 

III.   Australian Community Workers Association (ACWA)

a.) Certificate III in Community Development programme. 

b.) Diploma of Counselling ( Level 5)

 

IV.    Skills International New Zealand

Skills International New Zealand has given recognition to the following Pacific TAFE qualifications:

a.) Diploma of Information Technology (Level 5).

Skills International New Zealand will provide a recognition letter to the graduates of the programme confirming that the Pacific TAFE’s Diploma in Information Technology (Level 5) aligns to the New Zealand Diploma in Information Technology – Technical Support (Level 5)

b.) Certificate IV in Information Technology (Support)

Skills International New Zealand will provide a recognition letter to the graduates of the programme confirming that Pacific TAFE’s Certificate IV in IT (Support) is equivalent to the New Zealand Certificate in Information Technology Essentials (Level 4).

c.) Diploma of Accounting (Level 5)

Skills International New Zealand will provide a recognition letter to the graduates of the programme confirming that the Pacific TAFE’s Diploma of Accounting (Level 5) aligns to the New Zealand Diploma in Business with strands in Accounting (Level 5). 

d.) Certificate IV in Accounting 

Skills International New Zealand will provide a recognition letter to the graduates of the programme confirming that the Pacific TAFE’s Certificate IV in Accounting aligns to the New Zealand Certificate in Business ( Accounting Support Services) ( Level 4) V1 2455

e.) Diploma in Office Management (Level 5) 

Skills International New Zealand will provide a recognition letter to the graduates of the programme confirming that the Pacific TAFE’s Diploma in Office Management (Level 5) has been found to be equivalent to the New Zealand Diploma in Business with strand in Administration and Technology (Level 5) v1 

f.) Certificate IV in Office Management

Skills International New Zealand will provide a recognition letter to the graduates of the programme confirming that the Pacific TAFE’s Certificate IV in Office Management has been found to be equivalent to the New Zealand Certificate in Business (Administration and Technology) (Level 4) v1

 

V.    Small Business Association of Australia (SBAA)

 a.)  Certificate III in Small Business Development and Management 

 Has been endorsed by Small Business Association of Australia (SBAA)

 

VI.    Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) 

Pacific TAFE has become the first offshore provider to gain institutional accreditation as a Registered Training Organization (RTO) with ASQA and the programme on the scope of registration is BSB41515 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice.


VII.   Fiji Higher Education Commission (FHEC)

The following qualifications have been accredited on the Fiji Qualifications Framework (FQF) by FHEC:

a) Certificate IV in Human Resource Management                                         

b) Certificate IV in Project Management                                                        

c) Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
