Schedule of Issue of Academic Dress & Guest Tickets

(i)   Issuing of academic dress for graduation ceremonies at Alafua, Emalus will be advertise by these campuses.     Graduates are required to contact the respective campuses.

(ii)  Issuing of academic dress for Laucala Campus graduation ceremony is from

 

 8th to 17th April 2021

Issue of academic dress and ceremony tickets is at the old FBE Courtyard, Laucala Campus, Laucala Bay Road.

Academic dress will only be released if your name is on the confirmed list of graduands and if you produce an Official Receipt issued from the cashier and photo identification (e.g. Student ID Card). Persons collecting academic dress/ceremony tickets on behalf of a graduand must have a letter of authority and photo identification. The authorised individual must produce either a valid Driver’s License or FNPF Card or Voter Registration ID or Passport. The letter of authorisation must state the graduand’s student identification number and programme of study that he/she is being awarded.


This is additional dates to collection your academic dress and ceremony tickets for graduands who cannot make their scheduled dates and times of collection.

  • Saturday 10 April 2021, from 9:00am to 3:00pm :
  • Saturday 17 April 2021, from 9:00am to 3:00pm

 

USP Laucala Campus Cashier opening hours:

Monday to Thursday - 8:15am to 4:15pm
Friday 8:15am to 3:45pm
The Cashier also closes on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

Venue for collection of Academic dress and Ceremony tickets (March 2020)

The venue to collection your academic dress and ceremonial tickets is at the  is at the old FBE Courtyard, Laucala Campus, Laucala Bay Road.   Academic dress will only be released if your name is on the confirmed list of graduands and if you produce an official receipt issued from the Laucala campus cashier.

Persons collecting academic dress/ ceremony tickets on behalf of a graduand must have a letter of authority and photo identification.
The authorised individual must produce either a valid Driver's Licencse or FNPF or Passport.  The letter of authorisation must state the graduand's student identification number and programme of study that he/she is being awarded.

Costs of Hiring and Purchasing of Academic Dress.

Please note, if academic dress is collected by someone other than the graduand, they must have a letter of authority from the graduand and identification. Please ensure that the authorised individual produces either a valid Driver’s License or FNPF Card or Passport. The letter must state the graduands student identification number and programme of study that he/she is graduating in.

 

Return of Hired Academic Dress:     Monday 26th April to Friday, 30th April 2021

Return of hired academic dress is at Student Administrative Services (SAS) Book Centre next to FSTE (i.e. behind the fale/bure's opposite the Fitness Cemtre), between 8:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am to 3:30pm on Friday.

The Hire Agreement Receipt must be returned with your academic dress for refunds to be processed.  Failure to do this may result in the forfeit of refunds.

 

Academic Dress NOT returned by 3:30pm, Friday, 30th April 2021 will be deemed sold.

NOTE: We cannot guarantee an extension to this process timeline due to Occupational Health & Safety guidelines.

 

Refund of Academic Dress Deposit (April 2021)

All refunds will be paid directly to graduate bank accounts.
Please fill in your bank details on the Acadecmis Dress Deposit Refund form (Appendix 1) and lodge it with the USP Laucala Campus Cashier when making your payment for the academic dress

Please ensure that the bank account details entered in the form is your own. Banks will not process refunds to a third party account and the funds will be returned to USP’s account. Please allow up to one months' time for refunds to be effected into your bank account.

The Hire Agreement Receipt must be returned with your academic dress for refunds to be processed.  Failure to do this may result in the forfeit of refunds.
