Ni sa bula vinaka!
On behalf of USP’s School of Accounting and Finance, I’m delighted to welcome delegates to the 16th Australasian Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (A-CSEAR) Conference and Emerging Scholars’ Colloquium.
I also welcome you to Fiji! This is the first time A-CSEAR has been held outside of Australia and New Zealand and we are proud to host the conference in our beautiful country.
The conference venue is the luxurious Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa at Denarau Island which is a premier tourist destination located a 15 minute drive from Nadi International Airport. Denarau Island features a golf course, water park, swimming beaches and a range of dining and shopping experiences. The nearby Denarau Marina provides access to numerous off-shore hotels and tourist facilities which you may also choose to visit while in Fiji.
I acknowledge the generous support of our financial partners: the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and CPA Australia. This year’s A-CSEAR Conference is held in association with the Pacific Accounting Review (PAR) and the Meditari Journal.
I hope you will enjoy the technical and social dimensions of A-CSEAR 2017 as well as our Fijian hospitality.
