Welcome Staff and Students to the Learning, Teaching and Student Services at the University of the South Pacific. Responsibility for these services is with the Office of Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education. The Office was renamed to Office of Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education in January 2019, having been formerly known as the Office of DVC Learning, Teaching and Student Services (LTSS).
The University works with staff and students to help students integrate and apply their learning, build life skills, and acquire appropriate graduate attributes for successful living, working, leading, and managing change. The University also seeks to address skill development among its teachers through professional development and training, and expects its staff to demonstrate best practice in pedagogy. There is also an emphasis on applied research, field and community-based education outreach, all of which are central to our teaching philosophy.
The University is committed to the provision of high quality courses and programmes, the highest standards of learning resources, and high quality teaching. From this site you can see what measures we are taking to achieve this aim, and whom you may contact for clarification or help. You also can find policies and procedures related to Learning, Teaching and Student Services, and how you may raise issues about our service delivery.

Please feel free to contact the Office of DVC Education if you need any advice or help about any of these areas.
I hope you enjoy your time at the University.
