USP answers call to be part of The Internationl Day of Eradication of Poverty

The University was part of the International Day of Eradication of Poverty held at Naduri grounds, Macuata on the 4th to the 6th of October. Campus Director, Dr. Samuela Bogitini and PacTAFE coordinator Mr. Sumiran Pratap led the team to this 3 day event comprising of government departments, NGOs and other key stakeholders.

The event was officially launched by the Assistant Minister of Women, Children, Poverty Alleviation and Social Welfare Mrs. Venna Bhatnagar.

Prorammes of study that were on showcase were certificates and diploma in Early Childhood Education, Library Information System, Preliminary & Foundation courses, Degrees and other programmes of study that the public could take advantage of.

As the premier provider of tertiary education, USP saw the need to continue marketing of its programmes and took great advantage of events as such to make known their services to communities and prospective students so that everyone gets a fair chance of education and improving their lives, thus eradicating poverty.
