FBE Post-Graduate Lecture Theatre

The University of the South Pacific, Suva, Fiji.

The Asian Development Bank in collaboration with the World Bank, Department of Foreign Affairs (Australia) and the University of the South Pacific are jointly organising a two day conference to discuss the key findings from ADB’s 2017 Aid for Trade Report. The event will review latest trends in Aid-for-Trade, disbursements and trade costs particularly for small economies in the Pacific. In addition, institutional and regulatory reforms and cutting-edge trade facilitating solutions to promote trade in services and e-commerce would be discussed.

The event will bring together stakeholders from the region, including policy makers, representatives from international organizations, the donor community, and academia to discuss emerging challenges facing the remote island economies, and the way forward for Aid-for-Trade initiatives to boost connectivity and facilitate trade for inclusive growth.

Registration is free at the conference venue from 8.00am-9.00 am 7 February, 2018.
