Public Lecture

Staff and students of USP and members of the public are invited to the following free public lecture

The Smart Casual Project for Online Resources to Support Australian Teachers’


Dr Natalie Skead, Associate Professor and Associate Dean (Learning and Teaching), Faculty of Law of the University of Western Australia


Smart Causal is a federally funded Australian grant project that seeks to develop freely available online PD resources to support all sessional law teachers. It is also very useful for all law teachers.


There are 3 existing online PD modules covering Student Engagement, Problem-Solving and Feedback.


In development are another 6 modules covering Reading Law, Critical Thinking, Communication and Collaboration, Ethics and Professional Conduct, Indigenous Inclusion and Wellbeing.


In addition, strategic themes woven through the modules include diversity, gender, internationalization and digital literacy.
