On successful completion of this programme, graduates should be able to:

1. Review current developments in agricultural research in the global context
2. Identify and discuss the scientific methods including observational, experimental, and modelling techniques in agricultural science.
3. Identify agricultural research gaps and design appropriate methods of data collection and analysis.
4. Apply novel scientific methods to specific agricultural research programmes.
5. Interpret and summarise agricultural research findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals.”
