Marshall Islands Library

Welcome to the Marshall Islands Library

Empowerment thing excellence in library information resources and services for sustainable development of Pacific Peoples.

To advance the University Mission by providing equitable access to excellent library and information services, resources and facilities for students, staff and the wider Pacific Community.

The Marshall Islands Campus Library boasts a collection of over 4,000 books, offering students and other users access to a wide range of knowledge and resources across various academic and general interest subjects. In addition to its diverse book collection, the library provides access to DVDs, academic journals, and a specialized Pacific Collection, which is a valuable resource for those studying the culture, history, and contemporary issues of the Pacific region. This collection includes notable publications such as the Marshall Island Journal, providing unique insights into local matters.

The library is designed to accommodate up to 48 students at any given time, offering a comfortable and quiet environment for study and research. For those looking for additional space, a common room is available, with seating for up to 25 students, providing a more relaxed atmosphere for collaborative work or informal study sessions.

To support academic research and student needs, the library is equipped with 4 desktop computers, allowing access to digital resources, databases, and the internet. Additionally, there are 8 laptops available for students to borrow and use within the library premises, offering flexibility for those who prefer working in different parts of the library. These facilities ensure that students have the necessary tools to engage in research, complete assignments, and enhance their learning experience.
