Solomon Islands Library

Welcome to the King George Library

Empowerment through excellence in library and information resources and services for the sustainable development of Pacific Island peoples.

To advance the University Mission by providing equitable access to excellent library and information services, resources and facilities for students, faculty and the wider Pacific community.

Built in our state-of-art campus, our Campus Library is equipped with modern facilities to support teaching and learning. The library is fully airconditioned and it provides an environment conducive for study. We provide free Wi-Fi and have 24/7 power to ensure an uninterrupted learning experience for our students. Our Library is transitioning into a learning hub – it houses a diverse collection of books and learning resources for students to use for their assignments, preparation for exams and research, and at the same time providing spaces for quiet study, collaborative learning, and self-help kiosks for online research. Additionally, the library serves as a welcoming, living room-like space for students, with a seating capacity for 122 individuals, creating an inviting atmosphere for both study and relaxation.
