To shape Pacific futures by empowering students, staff and alumni to become inspirational agents of positive change leading to innovative, cohesive, resilient and sustainable communities
To influence Pacific Islanders through the pursuit of excellence in knowledge by providing world-class education and research that improves the lives of individuals and communities.
The Tonga Campus Library holds a diverse collection of over 15,000 books, including materials from the General Collection, Reference Collection, Reserve Collection, and the Pacific Collection. Membership is open to the public upon payment of membership fees, subject to certain conditions. Students are allowed to borrow up to five books from the General Collection for a period of two weeks. Items from the Reserve Collection are available for a two-hour loan period, with the exception that if borrowed in the afternoon, they can be returned the following morning. Books from the Pacific Collection and Reference Collection are not available for borrowing. The library operates with two staff members—one stationed at the circulation desk and the other in the library staff office—to assist users and manage operations efficiently. The library can accommodate up to 60 students at a time, and we are soon adding 10 new laptops for students to use within the library premises. We also make efforts to support our center libraries whenever possible.
