Welcome to the Tuvalu Campus Library

To establish the Tuvalu campus library as a vibrant hub of learning and innovation, dedicated to shaping the future of Tuvalu and the wider Pacific region by empowering students, staff, and alumni to become catalysts for positive change, in alignment with the overarching goal of shaping Pacific futures set forth by the University of the South Pacific.

To provide an exceptional library experience that fosters academic excellence, critical thinking among students, staff, and alumni of the Tuvalu campus. Through the provision of collaborative learning environments, we strive to empower individuals to contribute to the sustainable development and resilience of Pacific communities, in accordance with the mission of influencing Pacific Islanders through excellence in knowledge pursuit outlined by the University of the South Pacific.

The Tuvalu campus library offers a multi-disciplinary collection of materials to support the study programs of the university, in addition to topics of interest to the local Tuvalu community.

The collection, arranged on the shelves according to the Dewey Decimal Classification system, provides easy access to various subjects such as 150 psychology,  330 Economics, 530 Physics, and more. A chart is also provided on the study area notice board for your convenience.

The library houses approximately 3000 books, providing essential support to students. Facilities include nine computers for student use, a study area accommodating up to eight individuals, with a maximum capacity of 17 students in the library at once.

The library also has a collection of old magazines and journals.
