Research Interests: I am interested in exploring better methods of teaching vocabulary and grammar for secondary school teachers in their ESL classrooms. This interest was influenced by Paul Nation’s framework on the four strands model which I believe is a framework that can help teachers in the Pacific teach the English language to bilingual or multilingual learners effectively. With this interest, I wish to explore the gaps that we have in teaching and learning at the secondary level and with these gaps, specific methods to effectively achieve the learning outcomes for language focused learning.
