Pre-2025 Programme Requirements
These are the LT courses you have to pass to complete your degree.
Completing a Bachelor of Education or BAGCED with a teaching subject major in Literature and Language requires passing: LT102; LT202 or LT204; LT305; and either LT306 or LT307.
- If you began your Bachelor of Education or BAGCED with a teaching subject major in Literature and Language BEFORE 2022, then the LT courses you need to pass are: LT102; LT202 and LT204; and either LT305 or LT307.
Completing a Bachelor of Arts with a double major (one of them in Literature and Language) requires passing: LT102 and LT104*; either LT202 or LT204; and one of LT305, LT306, or LT307.
Completing a Bachelor of Arts with a single major in Literature requires passing: LT102 and LT104*; LT202, LT204 and LT231; LT305, LT306, and LT307; and either LT108 or LT331.
Completing a Bachelor of Arts with a double major (one of them Literature) requires passing: LT102 and LT104*; LT202, LT204 and LT231; LT305, LT306, and LT307.
Completing a Bachelor of Arts with a Minor in Literature requires passing: LT102; LT202; LT305; and either LT307 or LT331.
Completing a Bachelor of Arts with a single major in Literature and Language requires passing: LT102 and LT104*; LT202 and LT204; and two of LT305, LT306, or LT307.
- If you began your Bachelor of Arts with a single major in Literature and Language BEFORE 2022, then the LT courses you need to pass are: LT102 and LT104*; LT202 and LT204; plus one of LT305, LT306 or LT307.
* As LT104 will not be offered from now on, if you began your degree before 2025, and if you still need to pass LT104, please write to Literature’s Discipline Coordinator (Dr. Matthew Hayward) requesting permission for a course substitution to allow you to take LT108 instead of LT104: matthew.hayward@usp.ac.fj.
