The Campus Life Office at USP held its First Year Experience Buddy Awards 2020 on 7th November to acknowledge the hard work of First Year Experience (FYE) volunteers who buddy first year students at USP.  The volunteers are students of USP. The Institute of Applied Sciences in collaboration with Kava Korporesen Pte Limited jointly signed on Friday, 21 October, 2020 a Master of Science Research scholarship award that is tenable from 2021 at the University of the South Pacific Laucala Campus, Fiji. It was a proud moment for USP’s Tonga Campus when three of its graduates were recognised as gold medalists and prize winners at the Medals and Prizes Ceremony 2020.   Mumui La’akulu won the gold medal for the most outstanding Environmental Science graduate; Nimilote Halatoafa won the gold medal for the most outstanding Marine Science graduate and Anyalene Kahealani H. Tonga Campus Debate Competition - 4 Nov 2020 09:45:37 am
The competition has been organised by the Student Learning Specialist at the Tonga Campus as a learning initiative to help students develop, cultivate and build characteristics such as self-confidence, academic curiosity, team work spirit and public speaking. Pinktober Event Raises Funds for Cancer Awareness - 27 Oct 2020 03:52:55 pm
The Association of The University of the South Pacific (AUSPS) Women’s Wing and USP Staff Union (USPSU) helped raised $3000 by hosting a Pinktober Morning on 23 October to create awareness about breast cancer.  The proceeds will go to the Fiji Cancer Society. More than 200 people attended the event, including the Vice Chancellor and President, Professor Pal Ahluwalia.
