Day 4 Attracts record number of school participation - 9 Oct 2020 08:48:54 am
The start of Day 4 of USP’s Online Open Day saw a record number of schools participating in the first zoom session for the day.  15 schools logged into the first session at 8.30am with over 1500 students participating.  The session ran over 2 hours.  Representatives from Faculties and support services said it was a very busy but highly engaging session with a warm and friendly environment.  You could see a lot of excitement on the students’ faces in being able to interact with staff of USP from the comfort of their schools and with their teachers.   ... At the end of Day 3 of USP’s Online Open Week we saw a huge surge in interest from prospective students and the general public 10 schools participated via our zoom sessions and the number is expected to double by the end of today as we prepare to accommodate more schools from Fiji and the region.  Over 1000 students participated. The University of the South Pacific (USP) Online Open Week that opened from 9.00am this morning and began with much enthusiasm with its GetUSPReady tagline.
