The University of the South Pacific’s (USP) Graduate School of Business (GSB) celebrated the completion of the academic year for their students and Alumni with a public lecture at the USP’s Japan ICT Lecture Theatre, Laucala Campus on 23 November 2018. Professor Raghuvar Pathak, Head of the GSB said many MBA scholars have now completed their final trimester and look forward to joining over 1200 USP MBA alumni, many of whom are holding senior leadership positions including that of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, CEOs of public and private enterprises and successful entrepreneurs. ... A total of one hundred and twenty-six (126) students graduated from The University of the South Pacific’s (USP) Tuvalu Campus on 21 November 2018, the highest number in the history of the Campus. The University of the South Pacific (USP) hosted the 7th Research Excellence and Innovation Awards Evening at the Laucala Campus on 16 November 2018. More than 100 academic staff were recognised for their research outputs that were published in highly-ranked outlets in 2017; including A*, A and B-ranked journals, books and book chapters. Thirty government officials from the Fijian Government undertook project management training through The University of the South Pacific’s (USP) Pacific Technical and Further Education (Pacific TAFE) from 5 – 9 November 2018. The training week prepared the participants to begin an intensive 3-4 month course, including follow up sessions, to graduate with a Certificate IV in Project Management Practice.
