Preparations for the 25th Conference of the Parties (COP 25) in Chile at the end of the year is underway at the University of the South Pacific’s main campus in Suva through the Pacific Centre for Environment and Sustainable Development’s (PaCE-SD) project. USP and MSG sign MOU - 17 Oct 2019 08:56:50 am
The University of the South (USP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Melanesian Spearhead Group (MSG) Secretariat on October 15, 2019 to foster mutual  relationship through cooperation in areas of common interest. Professor Pal Ahluwalia, Vice- Chancellor and President (VCP) of USP welcomed  H.E Amena Yauvoli, Director General of MSG and the delegation to the USP Laucala Campus. A China-Pacific Economic Cooperation Seminar was held at The University of the South Pacific’s (USP) Laucala Campus on 15 October 2019. Approximately 400 students and staff members of The University of the South Pacific’s (USP) Solomon Islands Campus gathered for a pioneering debate competition which was won by the School of Management on 25 September 2019. The Student Learning Support (SLS) funded and organised this event with the debate topic: ‘Is Federal Government System a future for Solomon Islands?’ proposed in alignment with the current political situation. USP launches National Anthem in Fiji Sign Language - 11 Oct 2019 03:33:55 pm
The University of the South Pacific’s Faculty of Arts, Law & Education (FALE) in collaboration with the Fiji Association of the Deaf and Deaf Consultancy Pacific launched two videos, “Deaf Awareness: Fiji National Anthem in Fiji Sign Language” and “Intersectionality: Unique Lives with Diverse Identities”  at the Laucala Campus on 8 October 2019.
