USP’s Career and Internship Fair 2020 App
Themed “Your Future Direction”, USP has invited 30 top employers to participate in the four-day exposition. Some of the participating organisations include banks, law and accounting firms and government departments.
The purpose of the exposition is to provide an opportunity for our students to interact with employers, learn about the organisation and gain valuable contacts. This also enables the students to learn about the job market. When meeting the employers face to face, the students are able to ask questions about attachments, internships and full time employment.
The USP Career and Internship Fair 2020 is organised by USP’s Career and Entrepreneurial Centre, Campus Life
This annual event sees hundreds of students visit the booths each year. The diversity in the number of companies that take part in the exposition reflect the potential calibre and employability of USP students in Fiji and in the region.

As part of the Fair, workshops are also organised for the students. The workshops this year are being held at the USP AusAid Performance Space and participating organisations get an opportunity to speak to students on graduate attributes and employment opportunities which exists in their organisations and could benefit the students.
During the workshops the Fair has on offer exciting prizes for participating students.
To conclude the week-long event, the USP Career Centre in collaboration with the School of Accounting is assisting with the job recruitment for Fiji’s largest accounting firms. Interviews will be attended by final year students from the USP School of Accounting, FBE.
Information on the Fair is available to students through the USP Career and Internship Fair 2020 app which can be downloaded through the Google Play or App Store. The App has many valuable elements that deliver information and content, capture data and analytics and foster networking between the students and employers. It has some excellent features which makes it more appealing to the students as it is available on their phones. One such feature is the easy access for students to visit participating organisation websites. Students are also able to access the schedule/program, documents from employers, sponsor information and other essential information through the App.
The Fair ends on Friday, 4th September.
