Executive Summary
The POCCA project provides an interdisciplinary, multicultural and transnational study of the impacts of climate change and community responses covering 16 countries in the Pacific.
Funded through the Fund for International Cooperation under the auspicious of New Zealand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the project was initially a collaboration between the University of the South Pacific and University
of Canterbury and expanded to incorporate academics from universities around the Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, United States and other countries as well as researchers from research institutes, policy makers and civil society organizations.
