This qualification is nationally recorded on the Fiji National Qualifications Framework (FNQF) by the Higher Education Commission Fiji (HECF), and is also registered on the Pacific Register of Qualifications and Standards (PRQS).
Description
The course describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to organize, provide and monitor personal support services for a person within the limits established by an individualised plan. The individualised plan refers to the support or service provision plan developed for the elderly accessing the service and may have different names in different organisations. This programme also describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to facilitate the empowerment of people receiving support and facilitating the elderly’s independence and wellbeing.

Eligibility/Admission Requirements
- Pass in senate recognized year 12 or equivalent with English and or,
- Meet the university mature student admission criteria and or,
- Have at least 1 year relevant work experience
