As a graduand, you may choose to attend the ceremony or graduate in absentia.
Graduate without attending a ceremony (Absentia)
You can choose to graduate without attending the ceremony. This is called graduating in absentia and means your award is conferred at the ceremony and you will receive your award certificate (testamur) and official academic transcript later.
Graduands may personally collect their award certificate and official academic transcript on the week after the ceremony from Student Administrative Services. Please present your student ID card when collecting your academic records.
Please note, if you send someone to collect your documents they must have a letter of authority from the graduand and identification. Please ensure that the authorised individual produces either a valid Driver’s License or FNPF Card or Passport. The letter must state the graduands student identification number and programme of study that he/she is graduating in.
