Short Bio: 

Dr. Subhash Appanna is an Alumnus of USP with a BA (Economics/Administration 1986), MA (Sophia University, Tokyo 1990), and PhD (Swinburne University, Melbourne 2015). He studied and researched Japanese Production and Operations Management as a Japan Foundation Fellow in 1994-95. Dr Appanna has conducted specialized professional trainings for both private and public sector organizations in Japan, New Zealand, Fiji and most of the Pacific Island Countries. As part of USP’s community engagement efforts, he was allowed to take up a government appointment as Chair of the Boxing Commission of Fiji for four years. He continues to contribute to boxing as a fight official.
